  • Q1. Who is the SWI subscription model designed for?

Our subscription model is built for schools, youth and club sports organizations, multi-sport athletic departments, and single-sport programs that want deeper player care and coach support. It works well for programs with one or two teams all the way up to full athletic departments and sports clubs with dozens of coaches and hundreds of athletes. We typically partner with athletic directors, school leaders, club directors, wellness coordinators, and coaching staff who want a structured, human-centered approach to athlete well-being and culture.

Q2. What’s included in the base subscription?

At minimum, an SWI subscription includes access to our online coach training modules, monthly or quarterly live touchpoints for your community, a set number of live virtual workshops, and an annual wellness and player-care snapshot. The training modules cover sports wellness, behavior change, communication, and athlete care, giving staff on-demand tools they can revisit throughout the year. Live sessions give your community space to ask questions and apply concepts to real situations. Higher tiers add more parent education, team-focused sessions, and include hours of athlete coaching and group work. Within that structure, we can tailor topics to your context (age group, sport, current challenges, season timing).

    Q3. How are sessions delivered?

Sessions are delivered virtually through live, interactive video calls and supported by our on-demand learning system. This allows us to work with busy coaches, parents, and athletes across multiple teams and schedules, without adding travel or facility costs. For Partner-level or custom agreements, we can layer in special events, meetings, and workshops tied to key points in your season (pre-season, mid-season, post-season). We can also collaborate with your existing staff—such as counselors, athletic trainers, and sports psychologists—so our work complements, rather than duplicates, what you already have in place.

Q4. How much time does this require from our staff and community?

We intentionally design the cadence to fit your calendar rather than compete with it. Most organizations start with short onboarding modules staff can complete on their own time, plus 60–90 minute live sessions spaced throughout the year (for example, once a month or once a quarter). Optional office hours give interested coaches more space to go deeper without requiring everyone to attend every extra session. Parent and athlete sessions are scheduled around your existing events and communication rhythms. We typically plan live sessions several weeks in advance and map them to your pre-season, in-season, and post-season cycles so the program feels integrated, not added on.

Q5. Do you work directly with parents and athletes?

Yes. Parent and athlete coaching and education are core elements of the model and are available at discounted rates for member organizations. Depending on your tier, you can include live parent webinars, Q&A sessions, and digital resources that help families support athlete mental and emotional well-being, communication with coaches, and long-term healthy motivation. For athletes, we offer 1:1 sports wellness coaching and small-group or team sessions focused on mindset, resilience, confidence, recovery, habits, and off-field lifestyle. All of this sits firmly within a coaching and education framework—not therapy—and can be aligned with your existing counseling or clinical supports and your privacy policies.

Q6. How does this help with risk, liability, and culture—and how is it different from traditional sports psychology?

While SWI does not replace medical, counseling, or legal professionals, we help reduce risk by strengthening the overall culture of communication, boundaries, and care in your program. Coaches learn practical skills in relationship-building, clear expectations, scope of practice, and when to escalate concerns, while also focusing on player wellness, emotional well-being, mindset, habits, and personal growth. We reinforce alignment with your policies and documentation practices and help parents understand your approach to player care and wellness. Traditional sports psychology often focuses on performance or clinical support for individuals; SWI complements that by providing ongoing, ecosystem-level wellness coaching for coaches, parents, and athletes. Taken together, this creates a proactive, transparent, and well-educated environment—one that signals to families, players, staff, and stakeholders that your organization takes well-being and safety seriously in a holistic, human-centered way.

Q7. How do we get started, and how do we know it’s working?

We begin with a brief discovery call to understand your programs, size, existing supports, and current challenges. From there, we recommend a tier (Core, Performance, or Partner), outline pricing based on your community, and co-create a rollout plan for coaches, parents, and athletes. Some organizations start with a smaller scope or pilot before expanding. Once you’re ready to move forward, we set an initial calendar of sessions, share communication templates you can send to your community, and schedule your first trainings and touchpoints. Over time, we track engagement, feedback from coaches, parents, and athletes, and qualitative indicators like communication, retention, and culture so you can see how the partnership is contributing to both wellness and performance.
